I'm a student and a beginning author who's trying to get over his laziness and finally start to write his own fanfiction.|
I like to draw, mostly on paper, though I do dabble into Photoshop/Illustrator some times.
You will also find that my absolute love the Japanese culture, especially Anime & Manga transcends all. You can find my favorites on Link
I am also in love with my nickname, with which you can find me practically everywhere. (Except EA & Skype, where some m*rf*rs 'stole' it from me) PSN, IGN, Facebook, practically everywhere you see an "ElfenSky" you can be 95% sure that's me . Some could say it's narcissistic, but nevertheless...
Now, I also want to talk about video games, especially to people who think they cause violence. While I'm sure that's true in certain ways, I want you to know my opinion on it (I blatantly stole this from a comment on IGN, but I agree wholeheartedly with it)
People need to understand that gamers across the world are some of the least violent human beings on earth. Video gaming can totally calm the inner beast inside us and all we want is the ability to continue playing.
A gamer will never go on a rampage in a city in real life when it could lead him to not being able touch a PS3 or any other gaming system.
Hardcore video gamers are even less likely to commit crimes because it will be a form of suicide for them and might end his/hers relationship with the one he or she loves which, obviously is a console and the games that are on it...
If terrorist across the earth played more video games they would stop blowing up themselves. If Hitler lived during the arcade gaming era he would never have wanted to conquer the world - he would have wanted to win pacman over and over and over again.
If Bush decided to drop PS2 consoles with games in Afghanistan and Iraq, the war would be over in days and the economy would not be in such a mess.
Video games are a tool to calm the human race but the government has not figured out yet how to use this technology for the good.
